As I approach the end of my first exciting year of business with AFOKOSKIN, I wanted to take the time to personally thank each of you for your continued support. Thanks to your willingness to give AFOKOSKIN a chance, we were able to move into our first warehouse facility, land a global retailer distribution, and become a 6-figure business all within the first six months of incorporation. This is amazing, and I absolutely couldn’t have done it alone.

AFOKOKSIN is something beautiful that was birthed out of an unfortunate circumstance. This business idea came to me years ago, however it was the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and an unexpected layoff in March 2020 that put me in the position to finally launch. I decided to take a risk, and I used my $1200 stimulus check to buy a website domain, create an LLC, and to order bottles for my face wash.

Nearly a year later, AFOKOSKIN is a booming business with a loyal customer base and a vision for the future. Apart of that vision is offering financial support and mentorship to other BIPOC entrepreneurs along their journeys. As such, I am overjoyed and excited to announce that in celebration of our first anniversary, AFOKOSKIN will be donating: (A) a $1200 grant, and (B) a year of mentorship to a Black-Owned business.
